The HABC Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment Course qualification is designed for employees who are responsible for undertaking a risk assessment in the workplace and provides employees with the underpinning knowledge and skills to undertake a risk assessment. It is a generic qualification which is designed for any type of workplace.
It is understood that not all employees are required to write a risk assessment but may be asked to contribute to process and therefore this qualification also is suitable for those types of employees.
Employers have a legal obligation to undertake risk assessments in accordance with health and safety legislation and this qualification enables employers to provide training to employees in order to fulfil their obligations of appropriate training.
